KEYS MUSIC NEEDS YOU!

More ways to support keys:

VOLUNTEER YOUR TIME AND TALENT

KEYS is looking for high school, college and adult volunteers to support musical and non-musical activities.  Do you or your high school/college-age children play an instrument or have a special skill (e.g. marketing, photography/video, event planning)?  Volunteer your time and talent with KEYS.  Musical volunteers should have multiple years of experience with one or more instruments, so that they can act as a musical role model for KEYS students. Opportunities are available during the school day, after-school and on Saturdays. Read more HERE. Please fill out the Volunteer Form or print the Volunteer Form or e-mail us HERE.

GIVE AN INSTRUMENT TO A KEYS STUDENT

KEYS gratefully accepts gently used instruments of all kinds. Fill out the Instrument Donation Form here or download and print the Instrument Donation Form HERE. You can drop smaller instruments off at Elm Street Books (please leave your name and contact information).  Elm Street Books is located at 35 Elm Street in New Canaan, CT. For larger instruments, email us HERE.

To donate a piano:  The piano should be in good, playable condition with no repair work needed. We ask donors to pay the cost to move the piano to a school or student's home in Bridgeport, and to pay for tuning after the move, so that the school/student receives a piano in "ready to play" condition. Please know that the typical process to find a good home for a piano can take several weeks.

HOST A HOUSE CONCERT

Another great way to help is to host a concert in your home. KEYS will help you set up the music program and you provide the venue and audience. For more information, contact Rob Silvan, HERE.

ATTEND A KEYS EVENT

KEYS holds musical events throughout the year that feature our KEYS students, with proceeds funding our Bridgeport music programs. See our Upcoming Events, HERE.
