KEYS believes that every child
should have the opportunity and
access to study an instrument.
OUR MISSiON
KEYS’ mission is to provide free music lessons and performance opportunities to under-resourced students of Bridgeport.
KEYS envisions a world where every child has access to the transformative experience of studying and playing music regardless of circumstances.
KEYS Music PROGRAMS
Our “Music for Life” lessons program provides free individual instrument lessons taught by trained and experienced instructors to children whose families do not have the means to pay for music instruction.
KEYS has strong partnerships with Bridgeport Schools, who welcome us into the schools during the day, to provide a much-needed aspect of a child’s education. Everything is free as a KEYS student - including instruction, instruments, additional after-school programs, Saturday ensembles, and summer camp.

Friday, April 25, 2025 6pm at Black Rock Church, Fairfield - KEYS is honored to be the recipient of a special fundraiser organized by Fairfield Ludlowe High School Tri-M students. The FLHS Tri-M is having a community concert featuring student performances including the KEYS chamber strings. Come see these talented students perform!

The Trio features esteemed faculty members from the KEYS music program: pianist Jenny Ong, cellist Madeleine Corliss, and violinist Corinne Metter. They will delight us with compositions by Bach, Mozart, and Piazzolla in celebration of the spring season.

Summer Program 2025! - Our free Summer Program begins with the first week dedicated to beginners. Three more weeks of all day summer fun include students of all ages and conclude with a concert on Friday, August 15th for family and friends. *July 21-25 2025 for Beginners only *July 28-Aug 15 2025 August Summer Music Program
Saturday, August 30, 2025 Bridgeport Jazz Festival at McLevy Green - Our very own "Keynotes" Jazz Band will be performing. More info to come- Free Entry!
