KEYS Music Instructors |
| KEYS’s music teachers exhibit rare commitment, talent and a gentle, focused approach with their young students. They are a diverse group who have musical training from professional institutions and who are experienced music educators. Most are professional musicians as well and perform at KEYS’s fundraising concerts and throughout the Metropolitan area. The KEYS faculty members work with school administrators and teachers who excuse students from class (not during reading or math) once a week for their music lesson. KEYS students perform in school recitals – an opportunity to be recognized for their accomplishments, build self-confidence, and extend the program to the broader student body. KEYS has initiated supervised after school practice programs and a summer program. |
