Claudia Cali has taught piano for KEYS at the Beardsley School since 2007. Born and educated in Italy, Claudia received a Masters in Music Communication from the Catholic University of Milan. She is on the faculty of the Talent Education Suzuki School in Norwalk and member of Duo Vivo, a piano and violin duo. Tucker Callander started the strings program at Beardsley In 2008. He holds a BS in music performance from Syracuse University. Denise DelMonte has taught 2nd through 8th graders at Columbus School since Fall 2006. She teaches piano, flute, and recorder, and runs the afterschool program. She also helps recruit and supervise volunteers. Peter Randazzo is a KEYS teacher at Beardsley and Marin Schools where he works primarily with 5th and 6th graders. He received his B.S. in Music from the University of Bridgeport in 1983. Abby Gross joined the KEYS staff in 2009 to teach musical theater to 1st – 3rd graders in the after-school program. She received her BA in Dance at Sarah Lawrence College, and has varied certificates and studying experience. She served as the Drama Specialist at the Montessori School in Wilton, CT, as an after-school acting teacher for the Wilton Parks and Recreation Department and is the Director of Development at the Michael Chekhov Center of Theatre Arts. Sophia Frangenes teaches piano in the after school program at Beardsley School. She received her Master of Music Education Degree from Western CT. State College. She served as the music specialist in the Monroe and Newtown Elementary Schools, and as the Organist at Holy Trinity Church in Bridgeport for many years. She has taught piano in her own home studio. |
Christopher Onze teaches in the after school program at Johnson School. He received his Associates of Arts degree from Manatee Community College and his BA in Music Education from Olivet College, and was awarded several academic honors. He teaches music at Geraldine Johnson School in Bridgeport, CT. where he supervises the music curriculum. Michael McCallie received his graduate degree in Guitar Performance at Yale University. He received his Bachelor of Music in Guitar Performance at Stetson University, where he was a Finalist in the Stetson University Concerto Competition. Other honors include First Prizes at the Chattanooga Music Society, Young Artists’ Competition, and the Cleveland Music Society, Young Artists’ Competition. He has a private studio and is the Department Head of Guitar, Talent Education Suzuki School in Norwalk. Deborah Graser teaches violin at Geraldine Johnson School. She received her Bachelor of Music Degree from Marywood University and her Master of Music in Performance and Literature from the Eastman School of Music. She taught strings at both the Norwalk and Fairfield public school music programs, and was orchestra director at Fairfield Ward High School for 20 years. She performs with the Greenwich Symphony, and is the First Violinist of the Fairfield String Quartet. Jane Asprelli teaches piano at Columbus School. Jane has a Bachelor of Music in Piano Performance from the University of Kentucky and a Master of Music in Musicology from College-Conservatory of Music University of Ohio. She has been a music educator for over thirty years. She is on the faculty of several local music schools. |
