Sunday, May 7, 2017, 4:00 pm, Ridgefield, CT, Violins and Voices - A Concert to Benefit KEYS
Please join us for a fabulous afternoon of music, held in a private home in Ridgefield.
Our featured performer is Dr. Andrew Smith, a prizewinning violinist and graduate of the Royal Academy of Music, UK, who has performed as a soloist with orchestras throughout Europe, North America and China, appearing on television and radio in the UK, Italy, Portugal, China and on US Public Radio and Television. Andrew is the director of the Suzuki Music Schools of Westport, Orange and Stamford. Andrew is also the dedicated conductor of the KEYS Orchestra, and last year brought 37 KEYS students to perform in Carnegie Hall.
Andrew will perform solo works, and will also be accompanied on piano by the very talented Gina Wilson, who is the Chair of the KEYS Board of Directors.
And it wouldn't be a KEYS performance without our students! Enjoy the vocal talents of our newly formed KEYS vocal ensemble, led by KEYS founder, Rob Silvan. And a very special performance by some of our KEYS Orchestra students, led by Dr. Andrew Smith.
The concert is in a private home in Ridgefield, so seating is limited and pre-registration is required. There is no admission fee. Donations to KEYS are encouraged! Street address and other details will be provided to registered guests. A reception will follow the performance.
To register or for more information, please email Laurie Bradbury: email@example.com.
